Binatone B350 Sat Nav Review (UK and ROI Mapping)

There is nothing worse than getting lost. Driving down the motorway, you think you know the right way, and then you hit traffic. You turn off, try and go around the back routes, get stuck in a one-way system and before you know it, you’re completely and utterly lost. The solution is a satellite navigation system. But does the Binatone B350 Satellite Navigation with UK and ROI Mapping provide the answer?

This system has a 3.5 inch screen and is fully loaded with UK & Irish postcodes. Like its more expensive brethren (this GPS unit is around £70), this navigation unit can navigate via a 2-D or 3-D map. Its’ principal advantage over competitors like the Tom-Tom system is that it is considerably cheaper. There are numerous comments made for and against this unit by customers. Binatone X350 Sat Nav Review – UK

We have to say that when we received the Binatone X350 GPS unit on our desk we were a little wary in regard to how well the machine was going to perform seeing as it was so affordable and cheap when you compare it with other GPS units in its class. We had heard a lot of good things about the X350 though – online review and word of mouth recommendations all spoke highly of this snazzy little machine, so we were eager to test it out.

Just a little summary before we get to the meaty details: we have tested this device about 5 times on UK roads now, and we can say that it works excellently!

The first thing we noticed was the super fast set up time. It takes about 45 seconds to start up and begin assisting you on your journey once taken out of the box – impressive to say the least. Read the rest of this entry »

Binatone A350 Sat Nav Review & Prices

The Binatone A350 GPS sat nav unit from Binatone is one of the cheapest and affordable devices around at the moment. Its’ sturdy build and clear screen make it a reliable travel companion and really can’t be faulted as it carries out its’ job diligently and with speed so that you know exactly where you’re going.

The A350 is aimed primarily at those that have no need for fancy add-ons and just want a basic sat nav that does its’ job without any fuss. It comes with a large 3.5 inch screen (very clear and easy to read) and a car mount for safer driving.

As with most sat navs nowadays, the unit is touch-screen and the device works suprisingly well when tapped or touched, not too much pressure is needed – and it is very responsive which we thought was great (some more expensive models aren’t generally as receptive to the touch). Binatone Carrera X430 Sat Nav Review & Prices

One of Binatone’s first upper level sat navs, the Binatone Carrera X430, sure doesn’t let you down when it comes to performance and features – not forgetting the ultra low price of the system!

We tested this particular GPS on the lesser known roads of Southern London – a task which can disrupt the bigger brands at the best of times. Suprisingly though, considering the price range this satellite navigation current resides in sub £100, it didn’t let us down once. Very impressive thus far.

You may be wondering what the heck the 430 stands for in this product’s name – well, the great thing about this GPS unit is that it comes with an impressively big screen measuring, yes you guessed it 4.3 inches! Its bright, big and vibrant and is somewhat glare resistant which makes getting around much easier and hassle free. Read the rest of this entry »
